The Mine and its Heritage
The “Franceville Manganese” mining concession has a renewable 25-year term and covers an area of 835 km2. It includes fourteen (14) trays, of which Biniomi and Bordeaux are currently in production.
Extraction is organized according to a mining plan, with zones divided into mining blocks measuring 100m x 50m. Ore is transported from the extraction zones to the plant platform by articulated trucks (Dumpers).
